Read moreThe DisasterAssistance.gov website is scheduled for maintenance from 8 p.m. ET on Friday, April 11th to 8 a.m. ET on Saturday, April 12th. During this time, you will not be able to create or access your online account and agents may not be able to access or update your file.
To apply for assistance, you may complete an online application or apply by phone. For general questions or to apply by phone, call the FEMA Helpline, from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. (in your time zone), 7 days a week:

- If you use a video relay service, captioned phone, or other service, give FEMA your number for that service.
You must have a FEMA application number and approval from FEMA to participate in the Transitional Sheltering Assistance (TSA) program. Use the hotel locator to find a participating hotel.
If you have questions about TSA or need help locating a hotel, you may also call the FEMA Helpline at 1-800-621-3362, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. (in your time zone), 7 days a week. Hours may be longer during high disaster activity.
If you use a video relay service (VRS), captioned telephone (CTS), or other service, give FEMA your number for that service.
